‎1 ‏לְדָוִ֨ד׀ יְהוָ֤ה׀ אוֹרִ֣י וְ֭יִשְׁעִי מִמִּ֣י אִירָ֑א יְהוָ֥ה מָֽעוֹז־חַ֝יַּ֗י מִמִּ֥י אֶפְחָֽד׃ ‎2 ‏בִּקְרֹ֤ב עָלַ֨י׀ מְרֵעִים֮ לֶאֱכֹ֪ל אֶת־בְּשָׂ֫רִ֥י צָרַ֣י וְאֹיְבַ֣י לִ֑י הֵ֖מָּה כָשְׁל֣וּ וְנָפָֽלוּ׃ ‎3 ‏אִם־תַּחֲנֶ֬ה עָלַ֨י׀ מַחֲנֶה֮ לֹֽא־יִירָ֪א לִ֫בִּ֥י אִם־תָּק֣וּם עָ֭לַי מִלְחָמָ֑ה בְּ֝זֹ֗את אֲנִ֣י בוֹטֵֽחַ׃ ‎4 ‏אַחַ֤ת׀ שָׁאַ֣לְתִּי מֵֽאֵת־יְהוָה֮ אוֹתָ֪הּ אֲבַ֫קֵּ֥שׁ שִׁבְתִּ֣י בְּבֵית־יְ֭הוָה כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיַּ֑י לַחֲז֥וֹת בְּנֹֽעַם־יְ֝הוָ֗ה וּלְבַקֵּ֥ר בְּהֵיכָלֽוֹ׃ ‎5 ‏כִּ֤י יִצְפְּנֵ֨נִי׀ בְּסֻכֹּה֮ בְּי֪וֹם רָ֫עָ֥ה יַ֭סְתִּרֵנִי בְּסֵ֣תֶר אָהֳל֑וֹ בְּ֝צ֗וּר יְרוֹמְמֵֽנִי׃ ‎6 ‏וְעַתָּ֨ה יָר֪וּם רֹאשִׁ֡י עַ֤ל אֹֽיְבַ֬י סְֽבִיבוֹתַ֗י וְאֶזְבְּחָ֣ה בְ֭אָהֳלוֹ זִבְחֵ֣י תְרוּעָ֑ה אָשִׁ֥ירָה וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה לַיהוָֽה׃ ‎7 ‏שְׁמַע־יְהוָ֖ה קוֹלִ֥י אֶקְרָ֗א וְחָנֵּ֥נִי וַעֲנֵֽנִי׃ ‎8 ‏לְךָ֤׀ אָמַ֣ר לִ֭בִּי בַּקְּשׁ֣וּ פָנָ֑י אֶת־פָּנֶ֖יךָ יְהוָ֣ה אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ ‎9 ‏אַל־תַּסְתֵּ֬ר פָּנֶ֨יךָ׀ מִמֶּנִּי֮ אַֽל־תַּט־בְּאַ֗ף עַ֫בְדֶּ֥ךָ עֶזְרָתִ֥י הָיִ֑יתָ אַֽל־תִּטְּשֵׁ֥נִי וְאַל־תַּֽ֝עַזְבֵ֗נִי אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעִֽי׃ ‎10 ‏כִּי־אָבִ֣י וְאִמִּ֣י עֲזָב֑וּנִי וַֽיהוָ֣ה יַֽאַסְפֵֽנִי׃ ‎11 ‏ה֤וֹרֵ֥נִי יְהוָ֗ה דַּ֫רְכֶּ֥ךָ וּ֭נְחֵנִי בְּאֹ֣רַח מִישׁ֑וֹר לְ֝מַ֗עַן שׁוֹרְרָֽי׃ ‎12 ‏אַֽל־תִּ֭תְּנֵנִי בְּנֶ֣פֶשׁ צָרָ֑י כִּ֥י³ קָֽמוּ־בִ֥י עֵֽדֵי־שֶׁ֝֗קֶר וִיפֵ֥חַ חָמָֽס׃ ‎13 ‏לׅׄוּלֵׅ֗ׄאׅׄ⁴ הֶ֭אֱמַנְתִּי לִרְא֥וֹת בְּֽטוּב־יְהוָ֗ה בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חַיִּֽים׃ ‎14 ‏קַוֵּ֗ה אֶל־יְה֫וָ֥ה חֲ֭זַק וְיַאֲמֵ֣ץ לִבֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝קַוֵּ֗ה אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃

KJV

1 A Psalm of David.¹⁷³² The LORD³⁰⁶⁸ is my light²¹⁶ and my salvation;³⁴⁶⁸ whom⁴⁴⁸⁰ ⁴³¹⁰ shall I fear?³³⁷² the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ is the strength⁴⁵⁸¹ of my life;²⁴¹⁶ of whom⁴⁴⁸⁰ ⁴³¹⁰ shall I be afraid?⁶³⁴²

2 When the wicked,⁷⁴⁸⁹ even mine enemies⁶⁸⁶² and my foes,³⁴¹ came⁷¹²⁶ upon⁵⁹²¹ me to eat up³⁹⁸ ⁸⁵³ my flesh,¹³²⁰ they¹⁹⁹² stumbled³⁷⁸² and fell.⁵³⁰⁷

3 Though⁵¹⁸ a host⁴²⁶⁴ should encamp²⁵⁸³ against⁵⁹²¹ me, my heart³⁸²⁰ shall not³⁸⁰⁸ fear:³³⁷² though⁵¹⁸ war⁴⁴²¹ should rise⁶⁹⁶⁵ against⁵⁹²¹ me, in this²⁰⁶³ will I⁵⁸⁹ be confident.⁹⁸²

4 One²⁵⁹ thing have I desired⁷⁵⁹² of⁴⁴⁸⁰ ⁸⁵⁴ the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ that will I seek after;¹²⁴⁵ that I may dwell³⁴²⁷ in the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ all³⁶⁰⁵ the days³¹¹⁷ of my life,²⁴¹⁶ to behold²³⁷² the beauty⁵²⁷⁸ of the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and to inquire¹²³⁹ in his temple.¹⁹⁶⁴

5 For³⁵⁸⁸ in the time³¹¹⁷ of trouble⁷⁴⁵¹ he shall hide⁶⁸⁴⁵ me in his pavilion:⁵⁵²⁰ in the secret⁵⁶⁴³ of his tabernacle¹⁶⁸ shall he hide⁵⁶⁴¹ me; he shall set me up⁷³¹¹ upon a rock.⁶⁶⁹⁷

6 And now⁶²⁵⁸ shall mine head⁷²¹⁸ be lifted up⁷³¹¹ above⁵⁹²¹ mine enemies³⁴¹ round about⁵⁴³⁹ me: therefore will I offer²⁰⁷⁶ in his tabernacle¹⁶⁸ sacrifices²⁰⁷⁷ of joy;⁸⁶⁴³ I will sing,⁷⁸⁹¹ yea, I will sing praises²¹⁶⁷ unto the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

7 Hear,⁸⁰⁸⁵ O LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ when I cry⁷¹²¹ with my voice:⁶⁹⁶³ have mercy²⁶⁰³ also upon me, and answer⁶⁰³⁰ me.

8 When thou saidst, Seek¹²⁴⁵ ye my face;⁶⁴⁴⁰ my heart³⁸²⁰ said⁵⁵⁹ unto thee, ⁸⁵³ Thy face,⁶⁴⁴⁰ LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ will I seek.¹²⁴⁵

9 Hide⁵⁶⁴¹ not⁴⁰⁸ thy face⁶⁴⁴⁰ far from⁴⁴⁸⁰ me; put not thy servant away⁵¹⁸⁶ ⁴⁰⁸ ⁵⁶⁵⁰ in anger:⁶³⁹ thou hast been¹⁹⁶¹ my help;⁵⁸³³ leave⁵²⁰³ me not,⁴⁰⁸ neither⁴⁰⁸ forsake⁵⁸⁰⁰ me, O God⁴³⁰ of my salvation.³⁴⁶⁸

10 When³⁵⁸⁸ my father¹ and my mother⁵¹⁷ forsake⁵⁸⁰⁰ me, then the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ will take me up.⁶²²

11 Teach³³⁸⁴ me thy way,¹⁸⁷⁰ O LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ and lead⁵¹⁴⁸ me in a plain⁴³³⁴ path,⁷³⁴ because of⁴⁶¹⁶ mine enemies.⁸³²⁴

12 Deliver⁵⁴¹⁴ me not⁴⁰⁸ over unto the will⁵³¹⁵ of mine enemies:⁶⁸⁶² for³⁵⁸⁸ false⁸²⁶⁷ witnesses⁵⁷⁰⁷ are risen up⁶⁹⁶⁵ against me, and such as breathe out³³⁰⁷ cruelty.²⁵⁵⁵

13 I had fainted, unless³⁸⁸⁴ I had believed⁵³⁹ to see⁷²⁰⁰ the goodness²⁸⁹⁸ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ in the land⁷⁷⁶ of the living.²⁴¹⁶

14 Wait⁶⁹⁶⁰ on⁴¹³ the LORD:³⁰⁶⁸ be of good courage,²³⁸⁸ and he shall strengthen⁵⁵³ thine heart:³⁸²⁰ wait,⁶⁹⁶⁰ I say, on⁴¹³ the LORD.³⁰⁶⁸

1 τοῦ Δαυιδ πρὸς σέ κύριε ἐκέκραξα ὁ θεός μου μὴ παρασιωπήσῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ μήποτε παρασιωπήσῃς ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ ὁμοιωθήσομαι τοῖς καταβαίνουσιν εἰς λάκκον

2 εἰσάκουσον τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου ἐν τῷ δέεσθαί με πρὸς σέ ἐν τῷ με αἴρειν χεῖράς μου πρὸς ναὸν ἅγιόν σου

3 μὴ συνελκύσῃς μετὰ ἁμαρτωλῶν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ μετὰ ἐργαζομένων ἀδικίαν μὴ συναπολέσῃς με τῶν λαλούντων εἰρήνην μετὰ τῶν πλησίον αὐτῶν κακὰ δὲ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν

4 δὸς αὐτοῖς κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν καὶ κατὰ τὴν πονηρίαν τῶν ἐπιτηδευμάτων αὐτῶν κατὰ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτῶν δὸς αὐτοῖς ἀπόδος τὸ ἀνταπόδομα αὐτῶν αὐτοῖς

5 ὅτι οὐ συνῆκαν εἰς τὰ ἔργα κυρίου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ καθελεῖς αὐτοὺς καὶ οὐ μὴ οἰκοδομήσεις αὐτούς

6 εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὅτι εἰσήκουσεν τῆς φωνῆς τῆς δεήσεώς μου

7 κύριος βοηθός μου καὶ ὑπερασπιστής μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἤλπισεν ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἐβοηθήθην καὶ ἀνέθαλεν ἡ σάρξ μου καὶ ἐκ θελήματός μου ἐξομολογήσομαι αὐτῷ

8 κύριος κραταίωμα τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ὑπερασπιστὴς τῶν σωτηρίων τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ ἐστιν

9 σῶσον τὸν λαόν σου καὶ εὐλόγησον τὴν κληρονομίαν σου καὶ ποίμανον αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔπαρον αὐτοὺς ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος

1 Psalmus ipsi David. [Ad te, Domine, clamabo; Deus meus, ne sileas a me:
nequando taceas a me, et assimilabor descendentibus in lacum.

2 Exaudi, Domine, vocem deprecationis meæ dum oro ad te;
dum extollo manus meas ad templum sanctum tuum.

3 Ne simul trahas me cum peccatoribus,
et cum operantibus iniquitatem ne perdas me;
qui loquuntur pacem cum proximo suo,
mala autem in cordibus eorum.

4 Da illis secundum opera eorum,
et secundum nequitiam adinventionum ipsorum.
Secundum opera manuum eorum tribue illis;
redde retributionem eorum ipsis.

5 Quoniam non intellexerunt opera Domini,
et in opera manuum ejus destrues illos,
et non ædificabis eos.

6 Benedictus Dominus,
quoniam exaudivit vocem deprecationis meæ.

7 Dominus adjutor meus et protector meus;
in ipso speravit cor meum, et adjutus sum:
et refloruit caro mea,
et ex voluntate mea confitebor ei.

8 Dominus fortitudo plebis suæ,
et protector salvationum christi sui est.

9 Salvum fac populum tuum, Domine, et benedic hæreditati tuæ;
et rege eos, et extolle illos usque in æternum.]
