Child Safety

Our position

The Internet Sacred Text Archive has zero tolerance for the sexual exploitation of children. Content that sexualises a minor — including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any attempt to solicit or endanger a child — is strictly prohibited and is removed on discovery.

Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we delete it and close the account.

Reporting

If you encounter content that sexualises or endangers a minor, report it immediately using the report action on the content, or through /support. Reports of this kind are prioritised.

Escalation

As a U.S.-based service, we report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org, as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and cooperate with law enforcement.

What we do

On a credible report we remove the content, preserve evidence as required by law, disable the responsible account, and escalate to the appropriate authority. These actions are recorded.
