Neron cynincg niwan gescerpte
wlitegum wædum wundorlice,
golde geglengde and gimcynnum,

on his lifdagum lað and unweorð,
fierenfull. Hwæt, se feond swa ðeah
his diorlingas duguðum stepte.
Ne mæg ic þeah gehycgan hwy him on hige þorfte
