Chapter 39.—75. Eugenius of Ammedera 1733 said: "I too pronounce this same judgment, that heretics should be baptized." 1734

76. To him we answer: But this is not the judgment which the Church pronounces, to which also God has now revealed in a plenary Council the point in which ye were then still otherwise minded, 1735 but because saving charity was in you, ye remained in unity.
