1  The burden⁴⁸⁵³ of the word¹⁶⁹⁷ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ for⁵⁹²¹ Israel,³⁴⁷⁸ saith⁵⁰⁰² the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ which stretcheth forth⁵¹⁸⁶ the heavens,⁸⁰⁶⁴ and layeth the foundation³²⁴⁵ of the earth,⁷⁷⁶ and formeth³³³⁵ the spirit⁷³⁰⁷ of man¹²⁰ within⁷¹³⁰ him.

2  Behold,²⁰⁰⁹ I⁵⁹⁵ will make^{7760 853} Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ a cup⁵⁵⁹² of trembling⁷⁴⁷⁸ unto all³⁶⁰⁵ the people⁵⁹⁷¹ round about,⁵⁴³⁹ when they shall be¹⁹⁶¹ in the siege⁴⁶⁹² both¹⁵⁷¹ against⁵⁹²¹ Judah³⁰⁶³ and against⁵⁹²¹ Jerusalem.³³⁸⁹

3  And in that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ will I make^{7760 853} Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ a burdensome⁴⁶¹⁴ stone⁶⁸ for all³⁶⁰⁵ people:⁵⁹⁷¹ all³⁶⁰⁵ that burden⁶⁰⁰⁶ themselves with it shall be cut in pieces,^{8295 8295} though all³⁶⁰⁵ the people¹⁴⁷¹ of the earth⁷⁷⁶ be gathered together⁶²² against⁵⁹²¹ it.

4  In that¹⁹³¹ day,³¹¹⁷ saith⁵⁰⁰² the LORD,³⁰⁶⁸ I will smite⁵²²¹ every³⁶⁰⁵ horse⁵⁴⁸³ with astonishment,⁸⁵⁴¹ and his rider⁷³⁹² with madness:⁷⁶⁹⁷ and I will open^{6491 853} mine eyes⁵⁸⁶⁹ upon⁵⁹²¹ the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of Judah,³⁰⁶³ and will smite⁵²²¹ every³⁶⁰⁵ horse⁵⁴⁸³ of the people⁵⁹⁷¹ with blindness.⁵⁷⁸⁸

5  And the governors⁴⁴¹ of Judah³⁰⁶³ shall say⁵⁵⁹ in their heart,³⁸²⁰ The inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ shall be my strength⁵⁵⁶ in the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ of hosts⁶⁶³⁵ their God.⁴³⁰

6  In that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ will I make^{7760 853} the governors⁴⁴¹ of Judah³⁰⁶³ like a hearth³⁵⁹⁵ of fire⁷⁸⁴ among the wood,⁶⁰⁸⁶ and like a torch³⁹⁴⁰ of fire⁷⁸⁴ in a sheaf;⁵⁹⁹⁵ and they shall devour^{398 853} all³⁶⁰⁵ the people⁵⁹⁷¹ round about,⁵⁴³⁹ on⁵⁹²¹ the right hand³²²⁵ and on⁵⁹²¹ the left:⁸⁰⁴⁰ and Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ shall be inhabited³⁴²⁷ again⁵⁷⁵⁰ in her own place,⁸⁴⁷⁸ even in Jerusalem.³³⁸⁹

7  The LORD³⁰⁶⁸ also shall save^{3467 853} the tents¹⁶⁸ of Judah³⁰⁶³ first,⁷²²³ that⁴⁶¹⁶ the glory⁸⁵⁹⁷ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of David¹⁷³² and the glory⁸⁵⁹⁷ of the inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Jerusalem³³⁸⁹ do not³⁸⁰⁸ magnify¹⁴³¹ themselves against⁵⁹²¹ Judah.³⁰⁶³

8  In that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ shall the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ defend^{1598 1157} the inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Jerusalem;³³⁸⁹ and he that is feeble³⁷⁸² among them at that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ shall be¹⁹⁶¹ as David;¹⁷³² and the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of David¹⁷³² shall be as God,⁴³⁰ as the angel⁴³⁹⁷ of the LORD³⁰⁶⁸ before⁶⁴⁴⁰ them.

9  And it shall come to pass¹⁹⁶¹ in that¹⁹³¹ day,³¹¹⁷ that I will seek¹²⁴⁵ to destroy^{8045 853} all³⁶⁰⁵ the nations¹⁴⁷¹ that come⁹³⁵ against⁵⁹²¹ Jerusalem.³³⁸⁹

10  And I will pour⁸²¹⁰ upon⁵⁹²¹ the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of David,¹⁷³² and upon⁵⁹²¹ the inhabitants³⁴²⁷ of Jerusalem,³³⁸⁹ the spirit⁷³⁰⁷ of grace²⁵⁸⁰ and of supplications:⁸⁴⁶⁹ and they shall look⁵⁰²⁷ upon⁴¹³ me ⁸⁵³ whom⁸³⁴ they have pierced,¹⁸⁵⁶ and they shall mourn⁵⁵⁹⁴ for⁵⁹²¹ him, as one mourneth⁴⁵⁵³ for⁵⁹²¹ his only³¹⁷³ son, and shall be in bitterness⁴⁸⁴³ for⁵⁹²¹ him, as one that is in bitterness⁴⁸⁴³ for⁵⁹²¹ his firstborn.¹⁰⁶⁰

11  In that¹⁹³¹ day³¹¹⁷ shall there be a great¹⁴³¹ mourning⁴⁵⁵³ in Jerusalem,³³⁸⁹ as the mourning⁴⁵⁵³ of Hadadrimmon¹⁹¹⁰ in the valley¹²³⁷ of Megiddon.⁴⁰²³

12  And the land⁷⁷⁶ shall mourn,⁵⁵⁹⁴ every family^{4940 4940} apart;⁹⁰⁵ the family⁴⁹⁴⁰ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of David¹⁷³² apart,⁹⁰⁵ and their wives⁸⁰² apart;⁹⁰⁵ the family⁴⁹⁴⁰ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of Nathan⁵⁴¹⁶ apart,⁹⁰⁵ and their wives⁸⁰² apart;⁹⁰⁵

13  The family⁴⁹⁴⁰ of the house¹⁰⁰⁴ of Levi³⁸⁷⁸ apart,⁹⁰⁵ and their wives⁸⁰² apart;⁹⁰⁵ the family⁴⁹⁴⁰ of Shimei⁸⁰⁹⁷ apart,⁹⁰⁵ and their wives⁸⁰² apart;⁹⁰⁵

14  All³⁶⁰⁵ the families⁴⁹⁴⁰ that remain,⁷⁶⁰⁴ every family^{4940 4940} apart,⁹⁰⁵ and their wives⁸⁰² apart.⁹⁰⁵

1 λῆμμα λόγου κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ λέγει κύριος ἐκτείνων οὐρανὸν καὶ θεμελιῶν γῆν καὶ πλάσσων πνεῦμα ἀνθρώπου ἐν αὐτῷ

2 ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ τίθημι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ ὡς πρόθυρα σαλευόμενα πᾶσι τοῖς λαοῖς κύκλῳ καὶ ἐν τῇ Ιουδαίᾳ ἔσται περιοχὴ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ

3 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ θήσομαι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ λίθον καταπατούμενον πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν πᾶς ὁ καταπατῶν αὐτὴν ἐμπαίζων ἐμπαίξεται καὶ ἐπισυναχθήσονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τῆς γῆς

4 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ πατάξω πάντα ἵππον ἐν ἐκστάσει καὶ τὸν ἀναβάτην αὐτοῦ ἐν παραφρονήσει ἐπὶ δὲ τὸν οἶκον Ιουδα διανοίξω τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἵππους τῶν λαῶν πατάξω ἐν ἀποτυφλώσει

5 καὶ ἐροῦσιν οἱ χιλίαρχοι Ιουδα ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν εὑρήσομεν ἑαυτοῖς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ιερουσαλημ ἐν κυρίῳ παντοκράτορι θεῷ αὐτῶν

6 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ θήσομαι τοὺς χιλιάρχους Ιουδα ὡς δαλὸν πυρὸς ἐν ξύλοις καὶ ὡς λαμπάδα πυρὸς ἐν καλάμῃ καὶ καταφάγονται ἐκ δεξιῶν καὶ ἐξ εὐωνύμων πάντας τοὺς λαοὺς κυκλόθεν καὶ κατοικήσει Ιερουσαλημ ἔτι καθ᾽ ἑαυτήν

7 καὶ σώσει κύριος τὰ σκηνώματα Ιουδα καθὼς ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ὅπως μὴ μεγαλύνηται καύχημα οἴκου Δαυιδ καὶ ἔπαρσις τῶν κατοικούντων Ιερουσαλημ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιουδαν

8 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὑπερασπιεῖ κύριος ὑπὲρ τῶν κατοικούντων Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔσται ὁ ἀσθενῶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὡς οἶκος Δαυιδ ὁ δὲ οἶκος Δαυιδ ὡς οἶκος θεοῦ ὡς ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν

9 καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ζητήσω τοῦ ἐξᾶραι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐπερχόμενα ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ

10 καὶ ἐκχεῶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον Δαυιδ καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ιερουσαλημ πνεῦμα χάριτος καὶ οἰκτιρμοῦ καὶ ἐπιβλέψονται πρός με ἀνθ᾽ ὧν κατωρχήσαντο καὶ κόψονται ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν κοπετὸν ὡς ἐπ᾽ ἀγαπητὸν καὶ ὀδυνηθήσονται ὀδύνην ὡς ἐπὶ πρωτοτόκῳ

11 ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ μεγαλυνθήσεται ὁ κοπετὸς ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ὡς κοπετὸς ῥοῶνος ἐν πεδίῳ ἐκκοπτομένου

12 καὶ κόψεται ἡ γῆ κατὰ φυλὰς φυλάς φυλὴ καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ οἶκου Δαυιδ καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ οἴκου Ναθαν καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς

13 φυλὴ οἴκου Λευι καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς φυλὴ τοῦ Συμεων καθ᾽ ἑαυτὴν καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες αὐτῶν καθ᾽ ἑαυτάς

‎2 ‏הִנֵּ֣ה אָ֠נֹכִי שָׂ֣ם אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִַ֧ם סַף־רַ֛עַל לְכָל־הָעַמִּ֖ים סָבִ֑יב וְגַ֧ם עַל־יְהוּדָ֛ה יִֽהְיֶ֥ה בַמָּצ֖וֹר עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

‎3 ‏וְהָיָ֣ה בַיּוֹם־הַ֠הוּא אָשִׂ֨ים אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם אֶ֤בֶן מַֽעֲמָסָה֙ לְכָל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים כָּל־עֹמְסֶ֖יהָ שָׂר֣וֹט יִשָּׂרֵ֑טוּ וְנֶאֶסְפ֣וּ עָלֶ֔יהָ כֹּ֖ל גּוֹיֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃

‎4 ‏בַּיּ֨וֹם הַה֜וּא נְאֻם־יְהוָ֗ה אַכֶּ֤ה כָל־סוּס֙ בַּתִּמָּה֔וֹן וְרֹכְב֖וֹ בַּשִּׁגָּע֑וֹן וְעַל־בֵּ֤ית יְהוּדָה֙ אֶפְקַ֣ח אֶת־עֵינַ֔י וְכֹל֙ ס֣וּס הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אַכֶּ֖ה בַּֽעִוָּרֽוֹן׃

‎5 ‏וְאָֽמְר֛וּ אַלֻּפֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה בְּלִבָּ֑ם אַמְצָ֥ה לִי֙ יֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם בַּיהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

‎6 ‏בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֡וּא אָשִׂים֩ אֶת־אַלֻּפֵ֨י יְהוּדָ֜ה כְּֽכִיּ֧וֹר אֵ֣שׁ בְּעֵצִ֗ים וּכְלַפִּ֥יד אֵשׁ֙ בְּעָמִ֔יר וְאָ֨כְל֜וּ עַל־יָמִ֧ין וְעַל־שְׂמֹ֛אול אֶת־כָּל־הָעַמִּ֖ים סָבִ֑יב וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה יְרוּשָׁלִַ֥ם ע֛וֹד תַּחְתֶּ֖יהָ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ פ

‎7 ‏וְהוֹשִׁ֧יעַ יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־אָהֳלֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה בָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֑ה לְמַ֨עַן לֹֽא־תִגְדַּ֜ל תִּפְאֶ֣רֶת בֵּית־דָּוִ֗יד וְתִפְאֶ֛רֶת יֹשֵׁ֥ב יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם עַל־יְהוּדָֽה׃

‎8 ‏בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יָגֵ֤ן יְהוָה֙ בְּעַד֙ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְהָיָ֞ה הַנִּכְשָׁ֥ל בָּהֶ֛ם בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא כְּדָוִ֑יד וּבֵ֤ית דָּוִיד֙ כֵּֽאלֹהִ֔ים כְּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃

‎9 ‏וְהָיָ֖ה בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא אֲבַקֵּ֗שׁ לְהַשְׁמִיד֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַבָּאִ֖ים עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

‎10 ‏וְשָׁפַכְתִּי֩ עַל־בֵּ֨ית דָּוִ֜יד וְעַ֣ל׀ יוֹשֵׁ֣ב יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם ר֤וּחַ חֵן֙ וְתַ֣חֲנוּנִ֔ים וְהִבִּ֥יטוּ אֵלַ֖י אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־דָּקָ֑רוּ וְסָפְד֣וּ עָלָ֗יו כְּמִסְפֵּד֙ עַל־הַיָּחִ֔יד וְהָמֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו כְּהָמֵ֥ר עַֽל־הַבְּכֽוֹר׃

‎11 ‏בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יִגְדַּ֤ל הַמִּסְפֵּד֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם כְּמִסְפַּ֥ד הֲדַדְ־רִמּ֖וֹן בְּבִקְעַ֥ת מְגִדּֽוֹן׃

‎12 ‏וְסָפְדָ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ מִשְׁפָּח֥וֹת מִשְׁפָּח֖וֹת לְבָ֑ד מִשְׁפַּ֨חַת בֵּית־דָּוִ֤יד לְבָד֙ וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֣ם לְבָ֔ד מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת בֵּית־נָתָן֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד׃

‎13 ‏מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת בֵּית־לֵוִי֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָ֑ד מִשְׁפַּ֤חַת הַשִּׁמְעִי֙ לְבָ֔ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד׃

‎14 ‏כֹּ֗ל הַמִּשְׁפָּחוֹת֙ הַנִּשְׁאָר֔וֹת מִשְׁפָּחֹ֥ת מִשְׁפָּחֹ֖ת לְבָ֑ד וּנְשֵׁיהֶ֖ם לְבָֽד׃ ס

1 Onus verbi Domini super Israël. [Dicit Dominus extendens cælum, et fundans terram,
et fingens spiritum hominis in eo:

2 Ecce ego ponam Jerusalem superliminare crapulæ
omnibus populis in circuitu:
sed et Juda erit in obsidione contra Jerusalem.

3 Et erit: in die illa ponam Jerusalem lapidem oneris cunctis populis:
omnes qui levabunt eam concisione lacerabuntur,
et colligentur adversus eam omnia regna terræ.

4 In die illa, dicit Dominus,
percutiam omnem equum in stuporem,
et ascensorem ejus in amentiam:
et super domum Juda aperiam oculos meos,
et omnem equum populorum percutiam cæcitate.

5 Et dicent duces Juda in corde suo:
Confortentur mihi habitatores Jerusalem
in Domino exercituum, Deo eorum!

6 In die illa ponam duces Juda
sicut caminum ignis in lignis,
et sicut facem ignis in fœno:
et devorabunt ad dexteram et ad sinistram omnes populos in circuitu,
et habitabitur Jerusalem rursus in loco suo in Jerusalem.

7 Et salvabit Dominus tabernacula Juda, sicut in principio,
ut non magnifice glorietur domus David,
et gloria habitantium Jerusalem contra Judam.

8 In die illa proteget Dominus habitatores Jerusalem:
et erit qui offenderit ex eis in die illa quasi David,
et domus David quasi Dei,
sicut angelus Domini in conspectu eorum.]

9 [Et erit in die illa:
quæram conterere omnes gentes quæ veniunt contra Jerusalem.

10 Et effundam super domum David
et super habitatores Jerusalem
spiritum gratiæ et precum:
et aspicient ad me quem confixerunt,
et plangent eum planctu quasi super unigenitum,
et dolebunt super eum,
ut doleri solet in morte primogeniti.

11 In die illa, magnus erit planctus in Jerusalem,
sicut planctus Adadremmon in campo Mageddon.

12 Et planget terra: familiæ et familiæ seorsum:
familiæ domus David seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:

13 familiæ domus Nathan seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:
familiæ domus Levi seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:
familiæ Semei seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum:

14 omnes familiæ reliquæ,
familiæ et familiæ seorsum, et mulieres eorum seorsum.]
