1 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητὰς αὐτοῦ, ἀνένδεκτόν ἐστιν τοῦ τὰ σκάνδαλα μὴ ἐλθεῖν, πλὴν οὐαὶ δι᾽ οὖ ἔρχεται·

2 λυσιτελεῖ αὐτῶ εἰ λίθος μυλικὸς περίκειται περὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ καὶ ἔρριπται εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν ἢ ἵνα σκανδαλίσῃ τῶν μικρῶν τούτων ἕνα.

3 προσέχετε ἑαυτοῖς. ἐὰν ἁμάρτῃ ὁ ἀδελφός σου ἐπιτίμησον αὐτῶ, καὶ ἐὰν μετανοήσῃ ἄφες αὐτῶ·

4 καὶ ἐὰν ἑπτάκις τῆς ἡμέρας ἁμαρτήσῃ εἰς σὲ καὶ ἑπτάκις ἐπιστρέψῃ πρὸς σὲ λέγων, μετανοῶ, ἀφήσεις αὐτῶ.

5 καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἀπόστολοι τῶ κυρίῳ, πρόσθες ἡμῖν πίστιν.

6 εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος, εἰ ἔχετε πίστιν ὡς κόκκον σινάπεως, ἐλέγετε ἂν τῇ συκαμίνῳ [ταύτῃ], ἐκριζώθητι καὶ φυτεύθητι ἐν τῇ θαλάσσῃ· καὶ ὑπήκουσεν ἂν ὑμῖν.

7 τίς δὲ ἐξ ὑμῶν δοῦλον ἔχων ἀροτριῶντα ἢ ποιμαίνοντα, ὃς εἰσελθόντι ἐκ τοῦ ἀγροῦ ἐρεῖ αὐτῶ, εὐθέως παρελθὼν ἀνάπεσε,

8 ἀλλ᾽ οὐχὶ ἐρεῖ αὐτῶ, ἑτοίμασον τί δειπνήσω, καὶ περιζωσάμενος διακόνει μοι ἕως φάγω καὶ πίω, καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα φάγεσαι καὶ πίεσαι σύ;

9 μὴ ἔχει χάριν τῶ δούλῳ ὅτι ἐποίησεν τὰ διαταχθέντα;

10 οὕτως καὶ ὑμεῖς, ὅταν ποιήσητε πάντα τὰ διαταχθέντα ὑμῖν, λέγετε ὅτι δοῦλοι ἀχρεῖοί ἐσμεν, ὃ ὠφείλομεν ποιῆσαι πεποιήκαμεν.

11 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῶ πορεύεσθαι εἰς ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ αὐτὸς διήρχετο διὰ μέσον σαμαρείας καὶ γαλιλαίας.

12 καὶ εἰσερχομένου αὐτοῦ εἴς τινα κώμην ἀπήντησαν [αὐτῶ] δέκα λεπροὶ ἄνδρες, οἳ ἔστησαν πόρρωθεν,

13 καὶ αὐτοὶ ἦραν φωνὴν λέγοντες, ἰησοῦ ἐπιστάτα, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς.

14 καὶ ἰδὼν εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, πορευθέντες ἐπιδείξατε ἑαυτοὺς τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν. καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῶ ὑπάγειν αὐτοὺς ἐκαθαρίσθησαν.

15 εἷς δὲ ἐξ αὐτῶν, ἰδὼν ὅτι ἰάθη, ὑπέστρεψεν μετὰ φωνῆς μεγάλης δοξάζων τὸν θεόν,

16 καὶ ἔπεσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον παρὰ τοὺς πόδας αὐτοῦ εὐχαριστῶν αὐτῶ· καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν σαμαρίτης.

17 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, οὐχὶ οἱ δέκα ἐκαθαρίσθησαν; οἱ δὲ ἐννέα ποῦ;

18 οὐχ εὑρέθησαν ὑποστρέψαντες δοῦναι δόξαν τῶ θεῶ εἰ μὴ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς οὖτος;

19 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῶ, ἀναστὰς πορεύου· ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέν σε.

20 ἐπερωτηθεὶς δὲ ὑπὸ τῶν φαρισαίων πότε ἔρχεται ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτοῖς καὶ εἶπεν, οὐκ ἔρχεται ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ μετὰ παρατηρήσεως,

21 οὐδὲ ἐροῦσιν, ἰδοὺ ὧδε· ἤ, ἐκεῖ· ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἐντὸς ὑμῶν ἐστιν.

22 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς τοὺς μαθητάς, ἐλεύσονται ἡμέραι ὅτε ἐπιθυμήσετε μίαν τῶν ἡμερῶν τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἰδεῖν καὶ οὐκ ὄψεσθε.

23 καὶ ἐροῦσιν ὑμῖν, ἰδοὺ ἐκεῖ· [ἤ,] ἰδοὺ ὧδε· μὴ ἀπέλθητε μηδὲ διώξητε.

24 ὥσπερ γὰρ ἡ ἀστραπὴ ἀστράπτουσα ἐκ τῆς ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανὸν εἰς τὴν ὑπ᾽ οὐρανὸν λάμπει, οὕτως ἔσται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου [ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ αὐτοῦ].

25 πρῶτον δὲ δεῖ αὐτὸν πολλὰ παθεῖν καὶ ἀποδοκιμασθῆναι ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς ταύτης.

26 καὶ καθὼς ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις νῶε, οὕτως ἔσται καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου·

27 ἤσθιον, ἔπινον, ἐγάμουν, ἐγαμίζοντο, ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας εἰσῆλθεν νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, καὶ ἦλθεν ὁ κατακλυσμὸς καὶ ἀπώλεσεν πάντας.

28 ὁμοίως καθὼς ἐγένετο ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις λώτ· ἤσθιον, ἔπινον, ἠγόραζον, ἐπώλουν, ἐφύτευον, ᾠκοδόμουν·

29 ᾗ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ ἐξῆλθεν λὼτ ἀπὸ σοδόμων, ἔβρεξεν πῦρ καὶ θεῖον ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἀπώλεσεν πάντας.

30 κατὰ τὰ αὐτὰ ἔσται ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἀποκαλύπτεται.

31 ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ὃς ἔσται ἐπὶ τοῦ δώματος καὶ τὰ σκεύη αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ, μὴ καταβάτω ἆραι αὐτά, καὶ ὁ ἐν ἀγρῶ ὁμοίως μὴ ἐπιστρεψάτω εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω.

32 μνημονεύετε τῆς γυναικὸς λώτ.

33 ὃς ἐὰν ζητήσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ περιποιήσασθαι ἀπολέσει αὐτήν, ὃς δ᾽ ἂν ἀπολέσῃ ζῳογονήσει αὐτήν.

34 λέγω ὑμῖν, ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ ἔσονται δύο ἐπὶ κλίνης μιᾶς, ὁ εἷς παραλημφθήσεται καὶ ὁ ἕτερος ἀφεθήσεται·

35 ἔσονται δύο ἀλήθουσαι ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό, ἡ μία παραλημφθήσεται ἡ δὲ ἑτέρα ἀφεθήσεται.

36 

37 καὶ ἀποκριθέντες λέγουσιν αὐτῶ, ποῦ, κύριε; ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, ὅπου τὸ σῶμα, ἐκεῖ καὶ οἱ ἀετοὶ ἐπισυναχθήσονται.

1  Then¹¹⁶¹ said²⁰³⁶ he unto⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ disciples,³¹⁰¹ It is²⁰⁷⁶ impossible⁴¹⁸ but that³³⁶¹ offenses⁴⁶²⁵ will come:²⁰⁶⁴ but¹¹⁶¹ woe³⁷⁵⁹ unto him, through¹²²³ whom³⁷³⁹ they come!²⁰⁶⁴

2  It were better³⁰⁸¹ for him⁸⁴⁶ that¹⁴⁸⁷ a millstone^{3458 3684} were hanged⁴⁰²⁹ about⁴⁰¹² his⁸⁴⁶ neck,⁵¹³⁷ and²⁵³² he cast⁴⁴⁹⁶ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ sea,²²⁸¹ than²²²⁸ that²⁴⁴³ he should offend⁴⁶²⁴ one¹⁵²⁰ of these⁵¹³⁰ little ones.³³⁹⁸

3  Take heed⁴³³⁷ to yourselves:^{1438 1161} If¹⁴³⁷ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ brother⁸⁰ trespass²⁶⁴ against¹⁵¹⁹ thee,⁴⁵⁷¹ rebuke²⁰⁰⁸ him;⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² if¹⁴³⁷ he repent,³³⁴⁰ forgive⁸⁶³ him.⁸⁴⁶

4  And²⁵³² if¹⁴³⁷ he trespass²⁶⁴ against¹⁵¹⁹ thee⁴⁵⁷¹ seven times²⁰³⁴ in a day,²²⁵⁰ and²⁵³² seven times²⁰³⁴ in a day²²⁵⁰ turn again¹⁹⁹⁴ to¹⁹⁰⁹ thee,⁴⁵⁷¹ saying,³⁰⁰⁴ I repent;³³⁴⁰ thou shalt forgive⁸⁶³ him.⁸⁴⁶

7  But¹¹⁶¹ which⁵¹⁰¹ of¹⁵³⁷ you,⁵²¹⁶ having²¹⁹² a servant¹⁴⁰¹ plowing⁷²² or²²²⁸ feeding cattle,⁴¹⁶⁵ will say²⁰⁴⁶ unto him by and by,²¹¹² when he is come¹⁵²⁵ from¹⁵³⁷ the³⁵⁸⁸ field,⁶⁸ Go³⁹²⁸ and sit down to meat?³⁷⁷

8  And²³⁵ will not³⁷⁸⁰ rather say²⁰⁴⁶ unto him,⁸⁴⁶ Make ready²⁰⁹⁰ wherewith⁵¹⁰¹ I may sup,¹¹⁷² and²⁵³² gird⁴⁰²⁴ thyself, and serve¹²⁴⁷ me,³⁴²⁷ till²¹⁹³ I have eaten⁵³¹⁵ and²⁵³² drunken;⁴⁰⁹⁵ and²⁵³² afterward^{3326 5023} thou⁴⁷⁷¹ shalt eat⁵³¹⁵ and²⁵³² drink?⁴⁰⁹⁵

9  Doth he thank^{2192 3361 5485} that¹⁵⁶⁵ servant¹⁴⁰¹ because³⁷⁵⁴ he did⁴¹⁶⁰ the things that were commanded¹²⁹⁹ him?⁸⁴⁶ I think¹³⁸⁰ not.³⁷⁵⁶

10  So likewise^{3779 2532} ye,⁵²¹⁰ when³⁷⁵² ye shall have done⁴¹⁶⁰ all³⁹⁵⁶ those things which are commanded¹²⁹⁹ you,⁵²¹³ say,³⁰⁰⁴ We are²⁰⁷⁰ unprofitable⁸⁸⁸ servants:¹⁴⁰¹ we³⁷⁵⁴ have done⁴¹⁶⁰ that which³⁷³⁹ was our duty³⁷⁸⁴ to do.⁴¹⁶⁰

16  And²⁵³² fell down⁴⁰⁹⁸ on¹⁹⁰⁹ his face⁴³⁸³ at³⁸⁴⁴ his⁸⁴⁶ feet,⁴²²⁸ giving him thanks:^{2168 846} and²⁵³² he⁸⁴⁶ was²²⁵⁸ a Samaritan.⁴⁵⁴¹

17  And¹¹⁶¹ Jesus²⁴²⁴ answering⁶¹¹ said,²⁰³⁶ Were there not³⁷⁸⁰ ten¹¹⁷⁶ cleansed?²⁵¹¹ but¹¹⁶¹ where⁴²²⁶ are the³⁵⁸⁸ nine?¹⁷⁶⁷

18  There are not³⁷⁵⁶ found²¹⁴⁷ that returned⁵²⁹⁰ to give¹³²⁵ glory¹³⁹¹ to God,²³¹⁶ save¹⁵⁰⁸ this³⁷⁷⁸ stranger.²⁴¹

19  And²⁵³² he said²⁰³⁶ unto him,⁸⁴⁶ Arise,⁴⁵⁰ go thy way:⁴¹⁹⁸ thy⁴⁶⁷⁵ faith⁴¹⁰² hath made thee whole.^{4982 4571}

20  And¹¹⁶¹ when he was demanded¹⁹⁰⁵ of⁵²⁵⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ Pharisees,⁵³³⁰ when⁴²¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God²³¹⁶ should come,²⁰⁶⁴ he answered⁶¹¹ them⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² said,²⁰³⁶ The³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God²³¹⁶ cometh²⁰⁶⁴ not³⁷⁵⁶ with³³²⁶ observation:³⁹⁰⁷

21  Neither³⁷⁶¹ shall they say,²⁰⁴⁶ Lo²⁴⁰⁰ here!⁵⁶⁰² or,²²²⁸ lo²⁴⁰⁰ there!¹⁵⁶³ for,¹⁰⁶³ behold,²⁴⁰⁰ the³⁵⁸⁸ kingdom⁹³² of God²³¹⁶ is²⁰⁷⁶ within¹⁷⁸⁷ you.⁵²¹⁶

22  And¹¹⁶¹ he said²⁰³⁶ unto⁴³¹⁴ the³⁵⁸⁸ disciples,³¹⁰¹ The days²²⁵⁰ will come,²⁰⁶⁴ when³⁷⁵³ ye shall desire¹⁹³⁷ to see¹⁴⁹² one³³⁹¹ of the³⁵⁸⁸ days²²⁵⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of man,⁴⁴⁴ and²⁵³² ye shall not³⁷⁵⁶ see³⁷⁰⁰ it.

23  And²⁵³² they shall say²⁰⁴⁶ to you,⁵²¹³ See²⁴⁰⁰ here;⁵⁶⁰² or,²²²⁸ see²⁴⁰⁰ there:¹⁵⁶³ go not after^{565 3361} them, nor³³⁶⁶ follow¹³⁷⁷ them.

24  For¹⁰⁶³ as⁵⁶¹⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ lightning,⁷⁹⁶ that lighteneth⁷⁹⁷ out¹⁵³⁷ of the one³⁵⁸⁸ part under⁵²⁵⁹ heaven,³⁷⁷² shineth²⁹⁸⁹ unto¹⁵¹⁹ the other³⁵⁸⁸ part under⁵²⁵⁹ heaven;³⁷⁷² so³⁷⁷⁹ shall also²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of man⁴⁴⁴ be²⁰⁷¹ in¹⁷²² his⁸⁴⁸ day.²²⁵⁰

25  But¹¹⁶¹ first⁴⁴¹² must¹¹⁶³ he⁸⁴⁶ suffer³⁹⁵⁸ many things,⁴¹⁸³ and²⁵³² be rejected⁵⁹³ of⁵⁷⁵ this⁵⁰²⁶ generation.¹⁰⁷⁴

26  And²⁵³² as²⁵³¹ it was¹⁰⁹⁶ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ days²²⁵⁰ of Noah,³⁵⁷⁵ so³⁷⁷⁹ shall it be²⁰⁷¹ also²⁵³² in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ days²²⁵⁰ of the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of man.⁴⁴⁴

27  They did eat,²⁰⁶⁸ they drank,⁴⁰⁹⁵ they married wives,¹⁰⁶⁰ they were given in marriage,¹⁵⁴⁷ until⁸⁹¹ the³⁷³⁹ day²²⁵⁰ that Noah³⁵⁷⁵ entered¹⁵²⁵ into¹⁵¹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ ark,²⁷⁸⁷ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ flood²⁶²⁷ came,²⁰⁶⁴ and²⁵³² destroyed⁶²² them all.⁵³⁷

28  Likewise³⁶⁶⁸ also²⁵³² as⁵⁶¹³ it was¹⁰⁹⁶ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ days²²⁵⁰ of Lot;³⁰⁹¹ they did eat,²⁰⁶⁸ they drank,⁴⁰⁹⁵ they bought,⁵⁹ they sold,⁴⁴⁵³ they planted,⁵⁴⁵² they builded;³⁶¹⁸

29  But¹¹⁶¹ the same³⁷³⁹ day²²⁵⁰ that Lot³⁰⁹¹ went out¹⁸³¹ of⁵⁷⁵ Sodom⁴⁶⁷⁰ it rained¹⁰²⁶ fire⁴⁴⁴² and²⁵³² brimstone²³⁰³ from⁵⁷⁵ heaven,³⁷⁷² and²⁵³² destroyed⁶²² them all.⁵³⁷

30  Even thus^{2596 5024} shall it be²⁰⁷¹ in the³⁷³⁹ day²²⁵⁰ when the³⁵⁸⁸ Son⁵²⁰⁷ of man⁴⁴⁴ is revealed.⁶⁰¹

31  In¹⁷²² that¹⁵⁶⁵ day,²²⁵⁰ he which³⁷³⁹ shall be²⁰⁷¹ upon¹⁹⁰⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ housetop,¹⁴³⁰ and²⁵³² his⁸⁴⁶ stuff⁴⁶³² in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ house,³⁶¹⁴ let him not³³⁶¹ come down²⁵⁹⁷ to take it away:^{142 846} and²⁵³² he³⁵⁸⁸ that is in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ field,⁶⁸ let him likewise³⁶⁶⁸ not³³⁶¹ return¹⁹⁹⁴ back.^{1519 3694}

32  Remember³⁴²¹ Lot's³⁰⁹¹ wife.¹¹³⁵

33  Whosoever^{3739 1437} shall seek²²¹² to save⁴⁹⁸² his⁸⁴⁸ life⁵⁵⁹⁰ shall lose⁶²² it;⁸⁴⁶ and²⁵³² whosoever^{3739 1437} shall lose⁶²² his⁸⁴⁸ life shall preserve²²²⁵ it.⁸⁴⁶

34  I tell³⁰⁰⁴ you,⁵²¹³ in that⁵⁰²⁶ night³⁵⁷¹ there shall be²⁰⁷¹ two¹⁴¹⁷ men in¹⁹⁰⁹ one³³⁹¹ bed;²⁸²⁵ the³⁵⁸⁸ one¹⁵²⁰ shall be taken,³⁸⁸⁰ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ other²⁰⁸⁷ shall be left.⁸⁶³

35  Two¹⁴¹⁷ women shall be²⁰⁷¹ grinding²²⁹ together;^{1909 846} the³⁵⁸⁸ one³³⁹¹ shall be taken,³⁸⁸⁰ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ other²⁰⁸⁷ left.⁸⁶³

36  Two¹⁴¹⁷ men shall be²⁰⁷¹ in¹⁷²² the³⁵⁸⁸ field;⁶⁸ the³⁵⁸⁸ one¹⁵²⁰ shall be taken,³⁸⁸⁰ and²⁵³² the³⁵⁸⁸ other²⁰⁸⁷ left.⁸⁶³

37  And²⁵³² they answered⁶¹¹ and said³⁰⁰⁴ unto him,⁸⁴⁶ Where,⁴²²⁶ Lord?²⁹⁶² And¹¹⁶¹ he³⁵⁸⁸ said²⁰³⁶ unto them,⁸⁴⁶ Wheresoever³⁶⁹⁹ the³⁵⁸⁸ body⁴⁹⁸³ is, thither¹⁵⁶³ will the³⁵⁸⁸ eagles¹⁰⁵ be gathered together.⁴⁸⁶³

1 Et ait ad discipulos suos: Impossibile est ut non veniant scandala: væ autem illi per quem veniunt.

2 Utilius est illi si lapis molaris imponatur circa collum ejus, et projiciatur in mare quam ut scandalizet unum de pusillis istis.

3 Attendite vobis: Si peccaverit in te frater tuus, increpa illum: et si pœnitentiam egerit, dimitte illi.

4 Et si septies in die peccaverit in te, et septies in die conversus fuerit ad te, dicens: Pœnitet me, dimitte illi.

5 Et dixerunt apostoli Domino: Adauge nobis fidem.

6 Dixit autem Dominus: Si habueritis fidem sicut granum sinapis, dicetis huic arbori moro: Eradicare, et transplantare in mare, et obediet vobis.

7 Quis autem vestrum habens servum arantem aut pascentem, qui regresso de agro dicat illi: Statim transi, recumbe:

8 et non dicat ei: Para quod cœnem, et præcinge te, et ministra mihi donec manducem, et bibam, et post hæc tu manducabis, et bibes?

9 Numquid gratiam habet servo illi, quia fecit quæ ei imperaverat?

10 non puto. Sic et vos cum feceritis omnia quæ præcepta sunt vobis, dicite: Servi inutiles sumus: quod debuimus facere, fecimus.

11 Et factum est, dum iret in Jerusalem, transibat per mediam Samariam et Galilæam.

12 Et cum ingrederetur quoddam castellum, occurrerunt ei decem viri leprosi, qui steterunt a longe:

13 et levaverunt vocem, dicentes: Jesu præceptor, miserere nostri.

14 Quos ut vidit, dixit: Ite, ostendite vos sacerdotibus. Et factum est, dum irent, mundati sunt.

15 Unus autem ex illis, ut vidit quia mundatus est, regressus est, cum magna voce magnificans Deum,

16 et cecidit in faciem ante pedes ejus, gratias agens: et hic erat Samaritanus.

17 Respondens autem Jesus, dixit: Nonne decem mundati sunt? et novem ubi sunt?

18 Non est inventus qui rediret, et daret gloriam Deo, nisi hic alienigena.

19 Et ait illi: Surge, vade: quia fides tua te salvum fecit.

20 Interrogatus autem a pharisæis: Quando venit regnum Dei? respondens eis, dixit: Non venit regnum Dei cum observatione:

21 neque dicent: Ecce hic, aut ecce illic. Ecce enim regnum Dei intra vos est.

22 Et ait ad discipulos suos: Venient dies quando desideretis videre unum diem Filii hominis, et non videbitis.

23 Et dicent vobis: Ecce hic, et ecce illic. Nolite ire, neque sectemini:

24 nam, sicut fulgur coruscans de sub cælo in ea quæ sub cælo sunt, fulget: ita erit Filius hominis in die sua.

25 Primum autem oportet illum multa pati, et reprobari a generatione hac.

26 Et sicut factum est in diebus Noë, ita erit et in diebus Filii hominis:

27 edebant et bibebant: uxores ducebant et dabantur ad nuptias, usque in diem, qua intravit Noë in arcam: et venit diluvium, et perdidit omnes.

28 Similiter sicut factum est in diebus Lot: edebant et bibebant, emebant et vendebant, plantabant et ædificabant:

29 qua die autem exiit Lot a Sodomis, pluit ignem et sulphur de cælo, et omnes perdidit:

30 secundum hæc erit qua die Filius hominis revelabitur.

31 In illa hora, qui fuerit in tecto, et vasa ejus in domo, ne descendat tollere illa: et qui in agro, similiter non redeat retro.

32 Memores estote uxoris Lot.

33 Quicumque quæsierit animam suam salvam facere, perdet illam: et quicumque perdiderit illam, vivificabit eam.

34 Dico vobis: In illa nocte erunt duo in lecto uno: unus assumetur, et alter relinquetur:

35 duæ erunt molentes in unum: una assumetur, et altera relinquetur: duo in agro: unus assumetur, et alter relinquetur.

36 Respondentes dicunt illi: Ubi Domine?

37 Qui dixit illis: Ubicumque fuerit corpus, illuc congregabuntur et aquilæ.
