1 Corinthians 13

GNT

1  Though1437 I speak2980 with the3588 tongues1100 of men444 and2532 of angels,32 and1161 have2192 not3361 charity,26 I am become1096 as sounding2278 brass,5475 or2228 a tinkling214 cymbal.2950

2  And2532 though1437 I have2192 the gift of prophecy,4394 and2532 understand1492 all3956 mysteries,3466 and2532 all3956 knowledge;1108 and2532 though1437 I have2192 all3956 faith,4102 so that5620 I could remove3179 mountains,3735 and1161 have2192 not3361 charity,26 I am1510 nothing.3762

3  And2532 though1437 I bestow all my goods to feed5595 3956 3450 5224 the poor, and2532 though1437 I give3860 my3450 body4983 to2443 be burned,2545 and2532 have2192 not3361 charity,26 it profiteth5623 me nothing.3762

4  Charity26 suffereth long,3114 and is kind;5541 charity26 envieth2206 not;3756 charity26 vaunteth not itself,4068 3756 is not3756 puffed up,5448

5  Doth not3756 behave itself unseemly,807 seeketh2212 not3756 her own,1438 is not3756 easily provoked,3947 thinketh3049 no3756 evil;2556

6  Rejoiceth5463 not3756 in1909 iniquity,93 but1161 rejoiceth4796 in the3588 truth;225

7  Beareth4722 all things,3956 believeth4100 all things,3956 hopeth1679 all things,3956 endureth5278 all things.3956

8  Charity26 never3763 faileth:1601 but1161 whether1535 there be prophecies,4394 they shall fail;2673 whether1535 there be tongues,1100 they shall cease;3973 whether1535 there be knowledge,1108 it shall vanish away.2673

9  For1063 we know1097 in1537 part,3313 and2532 we prophesy4395 in1537 part.3313

10  But1161 when3752 that which is perfect5046 is come,2064 then5119 that3588 which is in1537 part3313 shall be done away.2673

11  When3753 I was2252 a child,3516 I spake2980 as5613 a child,3516 I understood5426 as5613 a child,3516 I thought3049 as5613 a child:3516 but1161 when3753 I became1096 a man,435 I put away2673 childish things.3588 3516

12  For1063 now737 we see991 through1223 a glass,2072 darkly;1722 135 but1161 then5119 face4383 to4314 face:4383 now737 I know1097 in1537 part;3313 but1161 then5119 shall I know1921 even as2531 also2532 I am known.1921

13  And1161 now3570 abideth3306 faith,4102 hope,1680 charity,26 these5023 three;5140 but1161 the greatest3187 of these5130 is charity.26

Vul

7 omnia suffert, omnia credit, omnia sperat, omnia sustinet.
